Our Story

Founded in 2026, The Carried Flame Tattoo Studio was built from a passion for tattooing, family, and creating a more meaningful way of life. After years of running an award-winning tattoo shop in California, my wife and I realized we were spending all our time living to work instead of working to live. We knew it was time for a change. So we packed our bags, hit the road with our little one, and traveled across the country searching for a slower pace, stronger community, and a place that truly felt like home. That journey led us to Warsaw, MO and inspired the meaning behind The Carried Flame Tattoo Studio. "The Carried Flame” represents carrying ourselves forward through every chapter of life while keeping our passion, creativity, and purpose alive. Tattooing has always been more than artwork to us it’s storytelling, transformation, healing, and self-expression.
